When we get caught up in the busyness of everyday work, it can be hard to see how far we have come. Looking back now, 2025 holds more milestones than we realized. We met new faces, welcomed familiar ones, and crossed paths with people who found their way to us through invisible strings. None of this would have been possible without everyone who chose to be part of the journey.
This year, we shared the experience of tufting with many who were trying it for the first time. Some came once, some returned several times, bringing friends along, each with their own stories. We explored more company collaborations, tufted beyond the studio walls, and even held a Sunday morning session at GBK during car free day. It was also the first year we welcomed students on a study tour, opening conversations about building something from creativity, experimenting freely, and not being afraid to start. 2025 also marked the launch of LIT Archive through our first project, Ripples Within, for Polapadu 2025. The journey continued with Flower Power for Beyond The Vows, allowing tufting to live beyond workshops and into exhibitions and collaborative spaces. Slowly, we are getting closer to our goal of expanding tufting as a creative medium for learning, sharing, and expression.
This year, we spent time reconnecting with ourselves through creation. Life Is Fun reminded us that joy does not need a reason. It can begin with something simple like doodling again, making something with your hands, and letting curiosity lead the way. As the year unfolded, that sense of play revealed something deeper. Life Is In The Making reflects the quiet effort behind every joyful moment. What started as play slowly became a pause, a small step away from endless scrolling and constant stimulation. By choosing to create with our hands, we slowed down, returned to the present, and listened more closely to ourselves. Through small, mindful projects, we begin to notice what excites us, what feels natural, and how growth happens gradually. We hope tufting can be one of those gentle ways back to yourself.
As we close 2025, we carry deep gratitude for everyone. Thank you for growing, having fun, and becoming part of this ongoing process of making with us.
